<p class="bodytext">With its Expert Vibro EV-4 Data Acquisition System device, Delphin has successfully combined the processing of complex functions with high levels of flexibility in a user-friendly system. Vibration measurement systems can now be used where they had previously been economically infeasible. The device is equipped with a high-powered, dual-core FPGA processor based on ARM technology giving users ample reserves of processing power.</p>
<p class="bodytext">Users are able to switch between voltage measurement, IEPE, or shaft vibration sensors. Integrated comparators and digital inputs allow flexible triggering. Measurement data is monitored &#8220;on the fly&#8221; with digital outputs being switched within msecs in the event of limit value violations.</p>
<p class="bodytext">Vibrations deliver information on the condition of bearings, shafts, and machinery and generally have a major effect on levels of quality in production processes. They should, therefore, be continuously acquired, intelligently evaluated, and condensed into meaningful data for monitoring. In critical situations, machinery needs to be shut down within milliseconds.</p>
<p class="bodytext">The Delphin Expert Vibro EV-4 combines the requirements and functioning of modern vibration measurement systems into a highly compact device. Other systems usually require multiple pieces of equipments. Vibration measurement is made easy with Expert Vibro. System installation and familiarization are short so that users can quickly start processing their data.</p>
<p class="bodytext">Expert Vibro provides users with analysis and monitoring functions, intelligent signal processing, an independent data storage capability, and versatile Fieldbus connections – all in a single device. Right from the outset, users save costs and avoid troublesome interface problems.</p>
<p class="bodytext">Of special benefit is the modular system for signal processing with a range of preprocessing functions. Filters, such as high, low, or bandpass with rectifiers, integrators, differentiators or decimators can be selected to make up a preprocessing sequence. Multiple preprocessing sequences are able to run in parallel in order to evaluate an input signal. This gives users an especially high level of flexibility.</p>
<p class="bodytext">Non-periodic signals, such as in fault diagnostics, can be analyzed precisely using Expert Vibro. In continuous sampling mode, even the smallest of irregularities are recorded. Expert Vibro measures, monitors, and records fully independently. Expert Vibro is equipped with its own internal data storage capability making it especially reliable and secure.</p>

<p class="bodytext">The Expert devices have full potential isolation in the form of analog differential inputs that users configure according to requirements: for mA/mV and V signals as well as for RTD or thermocouples. These universal options enable simple operation of the device.</p>
<p class="bodytext"> Integrated signal conditioning enables any type of sensor to be connected to the plug-in screw terminals. Scaled measurement data is then available to users. Recalculation from mA signal to bar, % etc. is unnecessary.</p>
<p class="bodytext"> The analog outputs can be easily switched between current and voltage output.</p>
<p class="bodytext"> Digital inputs (status inputs with counters of up to 1MHz) and digital outputs (switch outputs, PWM-outputs) with switch capacities of up to 30W are included within the compact device and can be utilized at no extra cost or effort.</p>

The analogs, with 18-bit AD converters, as well as the digitals, are galvanically isolated from the central unit (a modern FPGA) and from the PC interfaces (Ethernet/USB). Earth loops or non-isolated signals therefore present no problems and additional transformers are usually unnecessary.</p>

<p>The Expert Logger 400 is Delphin‘s new generation of data loggers. It combines the latest communication technology with advanced measurement technology and is based on FPGA technology to make it especially powerful. It can process up to 16 analog input channels at both low and high rates of sampling. Measurement data can be accurately acquired, independently stored and transmitted to the internet or a PC for evaluation via USB, LAN, WLAN or LTE.</p>
<h3>Operation Made Simple</h3>
<p>Sensors are connected via plug-in screw terminals and a chart clearly shows how channels are arranged. Users always have a good overview of the channels despite their high density. Each set of four terminals can be configured as two differential inputs to measure voltage, currents, thermocouples, or to take measurements from a 4-wire RTD.</p>
<h3>Configuration &#8211; Fast and Easy</h3>
<p>The Expert Logger 400 is simple to configure from a PC. These settings remain stored within the Expert Logger even when disconnected from the power supply. The device settings can also be read out and stored on a PC and analyzed offline without the need for a connected Expert Logger. The offline configuration settings are then simply read into the device when connected. The software used for configuration is simple to operate to let users fully focus on their measurement tasks.</p>
<h3>Intelligent Signal Processing</h3>
<p>Signal processing using internal software channels significantly simplifies measurement tasks. Flexible calculation channels enable measurement data to undergo further computation and recording. <p>The Expert Logger 300 is Delphin‘s new generation of data loggers. It combines the latest communication technology with advanced measurement technology, and is based on FPGA technology to make it especially powerful. It can process up to 46 analog input channels at both low and high rates of sampling. Measurement data can be accurately acquired, independently stored and transmitted to the internet or a PC for evaluation via USB, LAN, WLAN or LTE.</p>
<h3>Operation made simple</h3>
<p>Sensors are connected via plug-in screw terminals and a chart clearly shows how channels are arranged. Users always have a good overview of the channels despite their high density. Each set of four terminals can be configured as two differential inputs to measure voltage, currents, thermocouples, or to take measurements from a 4-wire RTD.</p>
<h3>Configuration &#8211; Fast and Easy</h3>
<p>The Expert Logger 300 is simple to configure from a PC. These settings remain stored within the Expert Logger even when disconnected from the power supply. The device settings can also be read out and stored on a PC and analysed offline without the need for a connected Expert Logger. The offline configuration settings are then simply read into the device when connected. <p>The Delphin Expert Transient ET-8 Data Acquisition System is a high speed, high accuracy data acquisition system capable of synchronously acquiring and saving analog measurement data up to a sampling rate of 50 kHz per channel in combination with digital signals.</p>
