<p>Advanced design and technology plus 25 years of geotechnical expertise have produced the dataTaker DT80GW WiFi Geotechnical Data Logger – A versatile, powerful – yet low-power &amp; cost-effective logger.</p>
<p>It supports vibrating wire and other geotechnical sensors such as Slope Indicator, RST Instruments, Geokon, Soil Instruments, Roctest, AGI – Applied Geomechanics Inc. DT80GW is also capable of testing sensor integrity through audible frequency</p>
<p>With temperature compensation (thermistor), 5 analog channels are capable of reading up to 5 vibrating wire sensors. If temperature compensation is not required this logger can read up to 15 vibrating wire sensors.</p>
<p>Further expansion up to 100 sensors (with temperature compensation) or 300 sensors(without temperature compensation) is possible.</p>
<h3>Local Wireless Access</h3>
<p>With wireless access, no need to have a physical connection to the logger. Send the program, view and download the data, or even modify your settings on a nearby PC or Tablet wirelessly either as a Master (Access Point mode) or Slave (Client).</p>
<h3>Automatic Data Delivery</h3>
<p>On Client mode, dataTaker can have access to a local router and if the router has internet access it can utilize the DT80GW’s automatic data delivery features to schedule your data to be automatically emailed to your inbox every day, week, month, or other time interval.</p>
<p>More sophisticated systems can make use of the automatic data delivery features to send logged data to an FTP server.</p>
<h3>Superior Data Storage &amp; Communications</h3>
<p>With the standard unit able to store up to 10 million data points (expandable) you can log as much or as little as you need. Overwrite or stop logging once allocated memory is full, archive data on alarm event, copy to USB memory or transfer via FTP/ Email, the choice is yours.</p>
<p>Communications features include RS232, USB, and Ethernet, which connect to the DT80GW locally, remotely through a modem, or over the Internet.</p>

<p>The DT80G vibrating wire data logger is ideal for all geotechnical data logging applications. The dataTaker GeoLoggers have built-in support for vibrating wire sensors including Geokon, RST Instruments, slope indicators, soil instruments, and more. They provide the ideal data acquisition and monitoring solution for the engineer working in the geotechnical environment.</p>
<p>The dataTaker GeoLoggers can monitor a wide variety of geotechnical data logging applications including slope stability, subsidence, dam wall monitoring, tunnel and mining excavation, groundwater, tunnel wall monitoring, and site assessment.</p>
<p>The advanced dataTaker DT80G range Geologgers work with a host of geotechnical sensors including Extensometers, Piezometers, Inclinometers, Strain gauges, Pressure cells, Crack meters, Tiltmeters and also support Carlson, Electrolevel, and LVDT devices. <h4>Universal &amp; Configurable</h4>
<p>The dataTaker DT80G vibrating wire data logger has 5 analog channels capable of measuring up to 5 vibrating wire strain gauges with thermistors or 15 vibrating wire strain gauges without thermistors. If additional channels are required the dataTaker DT85G has 16/48 vibrating wire channels. The DT80G and DT85G can be expanded simply by connecting dataTaker Channel Expansion Modules (CEM20) to provide 100 to 300 vibrating wire channels with thermistors.</p>
