New AERINOS ADS-300 from Infinite Informatics

New Wireless NB-IoT/LTE-M Data Collection End Node

CAS DataLoggers is pleased to introduce the new AERINOS ADS-300 wireless sensor end node from Infinite Informatics. The ADS-300 is designed to transmit data via either NB-IoT/LTE-M cellular networks and is targeted at remote monitoring applications. NB-IoT is a wireless protocol designed for the Internet of Things that offers very low-power operation using LTE cellular technology. NB-IoT is a global communications service that offers extended coverage beyond what existing cellular technologies offer and low-power operation to allow a battery life of more than 10 years.

The analog input is designed for sensors with either a voltage or 4-20 mA current output. The digital input can be used as either on/off state input to record events such as a contact opening or closing or as digital counter input to capture pulses from a device like a flow meter. The SDI-12 and RS485 interfaces can be used with smart sensors with serial data outputs.

The ADS-300 can be easily integrated with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure IoT Hub, Amazon Web Services, Mosquitto MQTT brokers or dedicated IoT platforms like Losant.

Key features of the AERINOS ADS-300 include:

  • 1 Analog input – 0-1VDC/0-20mADC
  • 1 Digital state/counter input – 0-30 VC up to 2 kHz
  • SDI-12 – up to 8 channels/3 sensors
  • RS-485/Modbus – Up to 8 channels/3 sensors, Modbus RTU and ASCII
  • Sensor excitation output – 5 & 12 VDC
  • Low power operation from a single Lithium battery for up to 10 years
  • Rugged IP66/IP68 enclosure
  • USB configuration port

The new ADS-300 is designed for applications that require remote, low-power operation such as environmental and agricultural monitoring, and level and flow measurements.
