New LogBox LTE Wireless Data Logger from Novus

CAS DataLoggers is pleased to introduce the new LogBox LTE wireless data logger from Novus Automation. The LogBox LTE is an IoT datalogger with NB IoT/CAT-M1 cellular connectivity. It is targeted at mobile monitoring and remote telemetry applications that lack conventional IT infrastructure. Data can be accessed remotely through the Novus cloud or another cloud provider such as AWS via its built-in support for the MQTT application. Data can also be accessed via USB on a local PC using the NXperience software.

new logbox lteThe design of the LogBox LTE makes it easy to connect to the most common sensors. It has two universal analog inputs that accept a direct connection from thermocouples, Pt100 RTD temperature sensors, or other sensors with 4-20mA or voltage outputs. It also provides one digital input that can record events such as opening a door or can count pulses from a device like a flow meter. A digital output can be used to actuate a local alarm or relay to control another device.

Features:

  • 3 Line LCD display
  • Internal storage for 140,000 data points
  • 2 Analog and 1 digital input + 1 Digital output
  • Rechargeable backup battery for up to 80 hours of operation
  • External 10-30 VDC power
  • Local high and low alarm limits
  • Audible alarm output
  • Removable connectors

The LogBox LTE is designed for applications that require accuracy in monitoring and recording data, such as the transportation of temperature-sensitive items, remote level or flow monitoring in agricultural applications, and remote telemetry for utility and environmental monitoring.
