Description

IO-8TC Thermocouple Input Module by Brainchild with RS485 interface that has 8 analog input thermocouples. For use with HMI, PLC or SCADA via Modbus RTU protocol.

Each channel has a connection terminals and an LED status indicator channel. Uses the Brainchild PC software IO Studio to configure communication with the module. The module housing is plastic with DIN rail mounting.

Software

IO Studio

IO Studio is a Windows-based standard PC Software used to configure IO Modules on the network. Once the module is connected with the software, the real-time data and the configuration of the module can be viewed on the PC for troubleshooting. RS485 Modbus RTU Modules can be connected to the PC by using an RS485 serial port, or RS232 to RS485 serial converters, or a USB to RS485 serial converter. The address of the RS485 module can be set on the module by the dip switches on the front panel.

Data Acquisition Studio (DAQ)

This is a single data acquisition Software for Recorders, Temperature Controllers, I/O Modules, HMI, and 3rd party devices with Modbus Protocol. User friendly PC based real-time data monitoring and data acquisition software.

Historical Viewer

The Historical Viewer displays historical trends, alarms, and events, and can be printed out or exported to a CSV file. Data can also be searched by time, time period, tag, alarm, event,s and remarks.
