The EC-7VAR Power Energy Data Logger is specifically designed to monitor one, two or three current channels, as well as one, two or three voltage channels. It allows you to monitor the loading and energy consumption of the installation. Power Factor recorded is the phase angle between L1 and A1. Amp ranges are selectable from 400 or 3000 AAC.

Why is the Electrocorder better than other similarly priced competitors? The Electrocorder range use a constant sampling technique, unlike the single reading of competitors. When the loggers start to record, they sample every channel 16 times per cycle, a cycle is 16ms at 60Hz and 20ms at 50Hz. At the end of each averaging period, 3 quantities are saved for each channel, the True RMS average, the Max, which is the highest cycle value during the period and the Min, lowest cycle value. This means that it will record all the peaks and troughs which are one cycle or longer.

The voltage and current levels are stored with dates and times. With the back-up battery, the Electrocorder can continue to record for months.

PV-3 Solar Data Logger

The PV-3 solar data logger is used by installers, householders, renewable energy companies to check PV (photo voltaic) installations. It can record solar irradiation up to 1,500W/m2 (watts per square metre), DC Voltage and DC Current produced by the panel, allowing you to assess the performance of a solar energy installation.

Why is the Electrocorder solar data logger better than other similarly priced competitors? The Electrocorder range use a constant sampling technique, unlike the single reading of competitors. When the loggers start to record, they sample every channel 16 times per cycle, a cycle is 16ms at 60Hz and 20ms at 50Hz. At the end of each averaging period, 3 quantities are saved for each channel, the TRMS average, the Max, which is the highest cycle value during the period and the Min, lowest cycle value. This means that it will record all the peaks and troughs which are one cycle or longer.

When recording the Electrocorder will store the average voltage (and current if applied) over the period chosen (1 sec to 60 min), it will also record the highest (max) & lowest (min) cycle values during that period.

The voltage levels are stored with dates and times. With the back-up battery, the Electrocorder can continue to record for 4 weeks. An external 12Vdc PSU input is available, to allow for prolonged logging without batteries. Memory capacity of 32,000 TRMS voltage values per channel (10 bit).

Electrocorder DC-3VA DC Voltage Current Data Logger

The DC-3VA DC Voltage Current Data Logger is a two-channel data logger specifically designed to accurately monitor one or two DC voltage channels, 1V to 300Vdc, and one DC current channel, allowing you to monitor PV (photovoltaic) cell output, DC charger performance, as well as many other applications – like DC motors. The stored data is uploaded to a PC via the supplied USB cable.

The kit includes a data logger, fused voltage leads, DC current probes, USB lead, 12Vdc PSU, Electrosoft software, and a carry case. IP65-rated enclosure.

When recording, the Electrocorder will store the average DC voltage and DC current over the period chosen (1 sec to 60 min), it will also record the highest (max) & lowest (min) values during that period.

The advantage of Electrocorder products over most others is that our Data Loggers constantly sample information (recording the Minimum, Maximum, and Average reading) over the set period. Many other products only take ‘snapshots’ of what is going on and can miss 99.9% of the data that is critical to your analysis.

DT85 Universal Input Data Logger – The Smart Universal Input Data Logger

The new DT85 Universal Input Data Logger Series 4 version has increased sampling speed, measurement range and programmable analog output.

The dataTaker DT85 smart data logger provides an extensive array of features that allow it to be used across a wide variety of applications. The DT85 is a robust, standalone, low power data logger featuring USB memory stick support, 18-bit resolution, extensive communications capabilities and built-in display.

The dataTaker DT85’s Dual Channel concept allows up to 32 isolated or 48 common referenced analog inputs to be used in many combinations. With support for multiple SDI-12 sensor networks, Modbus for SCADA systems, FTP and Web interface, 12V regulated output to power sensors, the DT85 is a totally self-contained solution.

Versatile Measurement

Connect an array of sensors through the versatile analog and digital channels, high-speed counter inputs, phase encoder inputs and programmable serial sensor channels.

Temperature, voltage, current, 4-20mA loops, resistance, bridges, strain gauges, frequency, digital, serial and calculated measurements can all be scaled, logged and returned in engineering units or within statistical reporting.

Set up sampling, logging, alarm and control tasks to suit your own requirements while interfaces for smart sensors, GPS, and other intelligent devices expand the DT85 flexibility.

Superior Data Storage and Communications

With the standard unit able to store up to 10 million data points (expandable) you can log as much or as little as you need. Overwrite or stop logging once allocated memory is full, archive data on alarm event, copy to USB memory or transfer via FTP/ Email, the choice is yours.

Communications features include RS232, USB, and Ethernet, connect to the DT85 locally, remotely through a modem or over the Internet.
