The RTR-600BD is a PC Communication Interface and Wireless Battery Charging Cradle for use with RTR-602 Wireless Food Core Temperature Data Loggers.

This communication interface cradle is for connecting TandD’s waterproof oil resistant RTR-602 food core temperature data loggers to a PC. It is necessary for making wireless communication settings and registering measurement items, user names and so on. It also includes space enough to simultaneously charge two loggers.

In order to view data recorded with RTR-602 food core temperature data loggers, it is first necessary to setup and register loggers using this interface connected to a PC. Simply rest the logger in the cradle to carry out PC communication and recharge the battery; no cables required!

The RTR-602 wireless core temperature data logger is an easy yet effective way to track temperature and ensure safety for foods and liquids. One press of the REC button logs all your measurement data: temperature, time of measurement, user, item, and judgment result. A Base Unit (RTR500BW) and a Battery Charge Dock (RTR-600BD) need to be purchased separately.

RTR-602 loggers send recorded data to a wireless base station (RTR500BW) from which it is transmitted to T&D WebStorage Service or your own FTP server. That data can then be viewed via browser on WebStorage or by using TandD’s Windows based DataViewer software.

There are four variations of the data logger to choose from:

The TR75A2 is a temperature logger with two thermocouples (K, J, T, E, S, R) sensor connections. It is capable of measuring temperatures ranging from -199 to 1760°C and can be used in very high temperatures such as in a plant furnace or in deep freezers where temperatures reach very low levels.

The RTR-500BM can be combined with any of the RTR-500/RTR500B series data loggers and up to 20 loggers can be registered for simultaneous use. PC software “RTR500BM for Windows” or the mobile app “T&D 500B Utility” can be used to set up mobile communication settings. Because the data collector uses mobile networking to transfer data, all you need to do is secure a power source and be in mobile range to send data to TandD’s cloud-based WebStorage Service, which makes it easy to check data, display graphs, and check warnings from your PC, smartphone or tablet anytime, anywhere.

The RTR-500BM has a warning monitoring function that sends a warning e-mail via the T&D WebStorage Service and/or SMS when a set limit is exceeded. Also, by connecting a buzzer or lamp to the contact output, you can set up an on-site alarm.

*To use an RTR-500BM, a SIM card from a carrier or mobile network service must be purchased.
